Therapy is a transformative journey guided by a skilled therapist to empower individuals to comprehend and control their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. It offers a safe and private space to navigate personal obstacles and mental health issues.
Therapy benefits anyone seeking to enhance their mental wellness, navigate life's challenges, or pursue personal development. It equips individuals with valuable tools and perspectives that can pave the way for a more fulfilling and rewarding life, irrespective of their background or present situation.

It’s important to know that you don’t have to be diagnosed with a mental disorder (or even think you have one) to benefit from psychotherapy.
In fact, you don’t even need to feel like “something’s wrong” to go to therapy. Plenty of people choose to go to therapy to support and maintain their mental health.
Most people who undergo psychotherapy experience symptom improvement and improve their ability to function in their daily lives.
Therapists are trained to use clinically validated methods to help you develop healthy, more successful behaviors.

I’ll ask you about why you’re seeking therapy
I’ll tell you a bit about myself and my approach as a therapist
You can ask me any questions that I didn’t cover
We’ll talk about rates, insurance, availability, etc.

If you’d like to use your insurance, please verify if you have out-of-network coverage through your insurance plan. I will provide a detailed invoice, including the services provided and their costs (also known as a “Superbill”), as needed, so you can submit it to your insurance company for reimbursement. We CANNOT guarantee reimbursement from your insurance.
Questions to ask your health insurance provider:
Do I have out-of-network behavioral health benefits?
What is my deductible, and has it been met in part or in full?
Once my deductible has been met, what is the coverage amount per session?
How many sessions per year are covered by my health insurance
What percentage of the per-therapy-session amount is covered?
Is pre-authorization required prior to beginning therapy?
How do I see in the claim or superbills provided by my therapist?

Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers must give patients who don’t have insurance or aren't using it an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 higher than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute it.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
